How To Enter

All players will give themselves a good “Assassin/Agent nickname” to remain somewhat anonymous. Your nickname should not give away your identity. Once you have an Agent Name you must send a direct message to “@assassingame_uofi” on instagram following the format below to be entered into the game, and you will be assigned a target as soon as possible.FORMAT FOR DM:

4. A selfie of yourself: (photos can be creative, must have either 3/4 of your face in frame, or an identifying feature (it should clue your assassin in to who you are without giving it away, photos can also be edited as

The Rules

Game Rules
Secrecy and Stealth: Kills must be done without witnesses. Stay hidden, don’t kill or battle in the open. Hits must be performed stealthily.Exception to Secrecy: If you disguise your identity (e.g., mask, wig, trash-can, bush), you can kill with bystanders present. The disguise must be on before being seen and removed without any citizens seeing. No disguise, no kill with witnesses.Witnesses: A witnessed kill is not valid. Both you and your victim remain alive. Witnesses may then target you.Self-Defense: If your target catches you during a hit, they can kill you in self-defense.Witnessed Hits: Witness an assassination? Contact The Director. You may be assigned to hunt the assassin you saw, but they will be warned.Secrecy in the Game: Keep your involvement secret. If someone finds out you are in the game, they can target you. Don’t show off your weaponry, talk about the game in public, or ask about the rules in public.Target Secrecy: Don’t tell anyone who your target is.Safe Zones (No Kills Allowed):Target’s closed room when they are sleeping (unless invited in)Workplace (except during lunch)BathroomsLibraries unless aloneDriver of a moving vehicleGym or during a gameAny area where weapon damage may occurPost-Hit Protocol: Once a hit is made, contact The Director via Instagram DM. The Director will confirm the kill. !!!SEND A PHOTO TO CONFIRM THE KILL TO THE DIRECTOR!!! (it can be a selfie with the target, a photo of you shooing them whatever)Hiring Help: Need help for a hit? Get permission from The Director.Rule Violations: Breaking rules, inactivity, or discussing the game in public gets you on the wanted list, making you fair game for any agent or assigning you to a cleaner.

GULAG
Elimination: If you die, you will be assigned another eliminated player as your target, and they will have you as their target.Re-entry: Successfully eliminate your target, and you rejoin the main game.Failure: Fail to eliminate your target, and you might have other ways to get back in as determined by The Director.

Technical Stuff
Cleaners: Cleaners are assigned special tasks to keep the game running smoothly. They do not help players; they are meant to eliminate players.Rule Breaking: Break a rule, and you might get a cleaner assigned to you.Hiding: If you're found hiding to avoid the game and "rest" your way to the top, you may be assigned a cleaner. Avoid this.Respect After Death: Once you're killed, respect other Assassins and the integrity of the game. Don’t talk about the game or reveal who killed you or who your target was. Dead men tell no tales. Remember, others shouldn't know who else is playing. Just keep it to yourself.

Weaponry
Kill Method: A kill must be made using a valid weapon. If the person doesn’t know they are killed, then it isn’t a kill. Duh.Valid Weapons:Spoon: Touched to the victim’s person (preferably plastic).Single Hand-Held Nerf or Related Guns: If shot and the bullet hits you, you are dead.Avoiding Attack: Be careful when trying to avoid an attack. If you are clearly attacked, you can fight back in self-defense.Being Hit: If you are hit, you are dead and cannot fight back.Prohibited Actions: Do not throw spoons.

The Rest
Weapon Responsibility: You are responsible for your own weaponry.Unauthorized Kills: Killing a civilian or an unauthorized target puts your name on the wanted list.Reporting Kills: Once a kill occurs, it must be reported.News Updates: News of the Day will be posted on Instagram.Contact The Director: For any questions, DM The Director.Honesty and Fair Play: Be honest, play fair, no cheating. If you botch a kill, admit it. Don't lie.Disagreements: If there's a disagreement (and there better not be), The Director is the final arbiter. Remember, this is a FUN, sneaky game.
